If I had a cent for everyone who has told me unconditionally doesn’t exist.
They’ll tell you conditions always exist. Especially in relationships. This is because you’ve never known unconditional. It’s not some magical utopia to live in. You’ll either find yourself in the rose garden alone. Or embroiled in the thorns of misunderstanding. But once you stop sharing your heart you are lost.
“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Nobel Peace Prize Acceptance Speech
Why do we insist there must be conditions? Because success in society is dependent on these unwritten lanes we blindly follow. We never stop and ask does this feel icky?
I get so much in my inbox which feels needy.
Do you know after 15 years of consultancy connected to organisations, sports, arts, families – the list goes on.
I have no list. No email mailshot. No newsletter. why?
Because everyone finds my door through the resonance of energy. You’d be surprised how. It takes a great deal of faith.
Then they arrive requiring a set resolution. I take as much time, and communication as required for this to be resolved. As there is an exchange of energy I’m honest with myself about how many balloons I can hold at a time. As they are resolved – I let them go.
Off they fly. No needs. No hooks. No list.
Those who stay in contact do so out of an unconditional lasting connection. It’s simple.
Does this build a fan base? A marketing list. Tentacles for attention.
No.
As I said this takes faith. It takes a strength on my part. A secureness built in my own unconditional garden not to measure my worth. My reach. My impact. On numbers. On conditions we all make.
Is this easy? Hell no. I told you I’ve spent a lot of time alone. I’ve felt the thorns.
Any hope we have is the remould of these conditions in society. A new secureness born.
For each person who has crossed my path – can’t honestly tell me they’ve not experienced unconditional through me.
