As a Mum of two dyslexic teenagers I had the good fortune to meet Naoisé in 2014. Initially it was a relief for my children to meet someone who ‘got them’ and didn’t think of them as ‘stupid’ but recognised them for the smart wonderful people they are. The support and positive encouragement from Naoisé and her team has made a huge difference to their lives. My daughter struggled everyday with teachers that just didn’t understand her, telling her she didn’t have the brains for certain subjects or was just not smart enough. With the help of Naoisé and her team she has come to realise that it is the system and some of the teachers in it that is the problem not her. She is a bright smart girl that just thinks differently and can achieve her goals in life with the help of people like Naoisé and the team of positive people around her. I know as we head into Leaving Cert next year the support of Naoisé will be invaluable and without that the damage that some teachers do would be irreversible. Thank you Naoisé
